Description: Seeking a PhD position beginning Summer/Fall 2027 in evolutionary computation, optimization, machine learning, AI for science. My research focuses on evolutionary computation for molecular and materials discovery and is expanding toward autonomous discovery through agentic AI. I am developing systems that combine large language models, evolutionary algorithms, surrogate models, and scientific simulation to autonomously generate, evaluate, and optimize candidate materials.
